 The finest indoor rocking chair available anywhere in the world. Made of weather-fine Brazilian Maple, it is a classic Shaker style, with a high back and wide double headrest. This chair is similar in style to our Franklin and Washington rockers, but with double headrest, and wider armrests. It is beautifully proportioned, with comfortable, solid arms, and comfortably contoured seat slats. The back posts are not straight – they are cut with an angle that makes the chair incredibly comfortable. The headrest and back slats are contoured from left to right for comfort as well. Runners and posts are thick, and there are attractive side slats that cover the seat slats as viewed from the side. Also, the seat slats are “capped” with a smooth crosspiece in front for added comfort.
